My favourite thing in the interior design world right now.
Updated: Aug 1, 2021
Hi everyone! :) I have recently decided to start writing blog posts. I thought that would be a great way to stay in touch with everyone who may not be on Instagram, where I am most active (but if you do have an Instagram account and haven't checked my account yet, make sure you head over to @missbar_designs I also think blog posts will be great to show you my DIY projects, share some garden tips or show you "before & after" room makeovers and many many more.
So let's start with my favourite thing in the interior design world right now..."right now" as there has been so many things that I love in interiors but I am currently very drawn to one trend in particular - vintage art. Vintage art is really cool and always has been. But to me, it is not about using it in a vintage-style interior which wouldn't be unusual.
It is about using vintage art in a completely different context - mixing old with new, presenting it in modern spaces. This mixture definitely gives character to interiors, makes the viewers curious and pushes them out of their comfort zone.

You can use vintage art in every room of your house. From what I can see, this movement in the interior design world is most visible in the USA. In general, this is not very popular in Europe (yet?) where I am based, but I am personally obsessed and I have used vintage art in my house (maybe another post about it?).

What do you think? Do you like it? Would you try it in your house? Make sure to comment below.
Thanks for your precious time! :)
